Industrial Extractor Fans

All factories need industrial extractor fans because they cool the machines that are running constantly. Factories have a lot of smoke, heat and gases in them, so it is critical to rid the area of contaminated air to maintain an environment that is healthy to work in. Industrial extractor fans come in various sizes that can be fit to your needs. The industrial extractor fan or plate fan is available in several types and is the ideal way to upgrade the quality of localized air in the plant.

Industrial Extractor Fans Types

There are basically two kinds of industrial extractor fan. The first kind is the plate fan which comes in many sizes. The second kind is centrifugal blowers which are heavy duty. The plate or axial fan is meant for a smaller work load and less coverage area. The centrifugal blowers work by sucking air out of the area and throwing the hot polluted air outside and then fill the area with fresh air taken from the external environment.  The axial fan’s dimensions range from 315mm to 630mm. The centrifugal blowers don’t have as many styling options, but the plate fans come in either wall or ceiling mounted styles. Plate fans are in a box and have speed controllers that are electronic and finger guards. The boxes are typically made from stainless steel. The motors used are heavy duty enabling them to work with efficiency for long periods of time and in every weather condition. The motors can even be used in damp environments as well.

Industrial extractor fans can be purchased online through dealers or from the manufacturers. They also provide services for installing or repairing new and old fans.
